The poster is very intense and gives you chills as you gaze on the spooky hand which is trying to strangle Vicky. Karan, earlier today, took to his Instagram account and shared his excitement with his fans and calmed down the week-long curiosity about his upcoming horror film.

The film is helmed by debutant director Bhanu Pratap Singh. The plot of the film is based on a true story which revolves around a haunted ship. Prior to Bhoot, Bhanu has worked as an assistant director for Shashank Khaitan in 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania'.

Shashank, who played an essential part in the conception of Bhoot Part One, revealed that Karan Johar was instantly on board for the film and loved the concept, as it is based on a real-life incident. Shashank said,

"Karan loved it. Bhoot: Part One- The Haunted Ship is based on a true incident that took place in Bombay. The shooting is complete. The post-production is underway and the film will open in cinemas on November 15 this year."

Shashank further added the intention behind naming the movie Bhoot: Part One was because the makers, especially Karan, want to develop the film into a series which may include horror comedy.
